What do you think of the ABM single string bridges with the tuners built in that they sell at Allparts
They are very nice, but very limited in use. They are very good for custmizing your bass like a 4 to 5 string or even an 8 string conversion, just make sure you have enough room on your bass to install them and the neck is wide enough so the string spacing will work, Thanks-Sean
How can I find some monrail bridges to replace the corroded ones on my Ibanez AFR-104? I have found part numbers and evrything but I don't know how to contact Ibanez. Any ideas?
Thanks for the question, The only way to contact Ibanez is through email and then they might not email you back. The customer support there is very slow to say the least, and since you have a custom built Ibanez bass with mono rail bridge with a drop D tuner and piezo pickups, You are going to have a touhg time finding a exact replacement bridge.
Here is a little copy from Ibanez.com ----------
How can I email or contact Ibanez?
Ibanez is very interested in your opinions on our products and comments can be sent to contact@ibanez.com. However, we regret that due to the high volume of email, we cannot offer a personal response to every email.

Bunker Bridges?
What The......
With the Bunker Independent Bridge Design each string has its very own bridge assembly.
This eliminates vibrations between strings, which at low frequencies, causes standard type bridges to sound muddy.
Machined with the care normally afforded a fine Swiss watch, ingots of quality Bell Brass and fine steel are transformed into elegant, precision devices. They are even equipped with Fine-tuners for each string to help make "tuning-on-the-fly" a breeze.
These fine bridges are included on all of our solid body basses. They are also available as retro-fit parts that come in a kit with full documentation for easy installation on the bass you already own.
With the Bunker Independent Bridge Design... Notes sound crisp, vibrant and clear and sustain is increased too!

The only bridge upgrade I've made was a stock bent-metal brige to a Gogoh 206. Great upgrade, about $50. Much longer sustain, somewhat harder attack, but less of a fundamental "feel" than the stock. Maybe I'm just hearing more mids and highs from the increased sustain.
The design and execution on this piece is among the very best. Only it's only available in aluminum (discontinued now but Warmoth still has some). If it was made out of brass, I'd get another for my next build. Brass is supposed to have more emphasis on the lows.
